Admission Requirements and Criteria
Our policy will be to guarantee an interview to all students who apply before our 1st February deadline.
Our Sixth Form Admission numbers are limited and approximately 60% of those are likely to be students who are currently studying at The City of Leicester College in Year 11.
Our criteria for making an offer will then be based on:
- Meeting the minimum attendance requirement of 90%
- Receiving a positive, supportive reference
If the Sixth Form is oversubscribed, or a course becomes oversubscribed, we will base selection on the following selection criteria:
- Children in Public Care (Looked After children)
- Students who have been studying at The City Of Leicester College in Year 11

The appeals procedure for the Sixth Form is undertaken internally and in the first instance would be addressed to the Head Teacher firstname.lastname@example.org
