Leicester's Caribbean Carnival is kicking off their 40th year with a vibrant Opening Ceremony at the African Caribbean Centre (ACC) on Maidstone Road, LE2 0UA. There are a variety of activities taking place there to get you in the carnival mood.

From the ACC, the energy will hit the streets as it sets off on their brand-new parade route, crossing the iconic Swain Street Bridge, winding through the city centre, and heading up London Road to their beloved home, Victoria Park.

Cosmopolitan Arts Festival


Cosmopolitan Arts Festival is back in Leicester City Centre on Saturday. This free arts extravaganza will immerse visitors in a fusion of music, dance, art, and cultural experiences, celebrating Leicester as one of the most culturally diverse cities in the country since 2011. The main stage at Jubilee Square will see a variety of talented artists perform, whilst the World Stage will see a mixture of music from across the globe. The festival will feature a dedicated dance area at St. Peter’s Square, showcasing talent from local, national, and international dancers. Audiences can also engage in a variety of workshops.

For the Love of Jazz

Cosmopolitan Arts is pleased to announce that the For the Love of Jazz Festival is back for its fourth year.

A celebration of all things jazz with some of the best musicians in the industry. From award-winning artists
