At The City of Leicester College we understand that literacy is a cornerstone of achievement in academics and success beyond the school gates. Therefore, we prioritise nurturing a strong foundation in literacy in all areas of our curriculum and educational approach to foster ambition for all.
Reading
Across our school, we place great emphasis on reading both in the classroom and at home. We want all of our students to become skilled and critical learners, who are able to access academic material independently.
